Fabulous! Location location location! To get there you have to walk on a small footpath souranded by rice paddies. The place is simple but very beautiful and matches perfectly with the environment. The staff was very friendly and the food of course very delicious. Highly recommended. Wow, talk about a hidden gem! Seriously, the location is absolutely perfect; you can't beat it. To get there, you'll have to stroll along a tiny little path, and the journey is half the fun! Picture this: rice paddies on either side, so green and vibrant. It's like something out of a movie, honestly. The experience starts before you even arrive at the actual place. The build-up is so worth it, trust me. This place is exactly what you are looking for if you want to escape the crowds. You have to check it out!

Amazing Satay, please try it out. Also the Nasi Campur was delicious. Came here a few times - never disappointed and absolutely reasonable prices, especially given the scenery/view. Also nice during sunset times. Yes, you can drive there with your scooter or take a little walk.

Nice restaurant in the fields with a lovely view. Food was very tasty but the portions are a bit small. The fresh juices we ordered lacked taste. Overall nice place but could have been a bit better.

Bamboo Kitchen is an absolute hidden gem in Ubud. Tucked away down a scenic little gang, it’s best reached by foot—skip the scooter and enjoy the peaceful walk in. The setting is magical: completely surrounded by rice fields, it’s the kind of place that makes you pause and soak in the beauty. I went at sunset and was blown away—the light, the atmosphere, everything was just perfect. The food? Even better than expected. Every dish was flavorful and fresh, easily some of the best I’ve had in Bali. The service was also top-notch—warm, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. While dining, I saw birds flying overhead, butterflies drifting through, and even some adorable dogs playing nearby. It all added to the charm and made for a really special, grounded experience. Highly, highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene spot with phenomenal food and unforgettable views.

Bamboo Kitchen is one of those places that feels special the moment you sit down. The setting is stunning, with tables placed on small islands in the middle of ponds, koi gliding around while rice fields stretch out into the distance. It’s quiet, peaceful and has that effortless charm that makes you want to linger. The food matches the atmosphere. The gado-gado is a standout, fresh vegetables, tofu and egg layered with a rich peanut sauce, beautifully presented and as satisfying to eat as it looks. The burger comes stacked high with a runny egg and plenty of flavor, a solid option if you want something more filling. Drinks are fresh and pair perfectly with the open-air vibe. The only weak point are the fries. They’re the thin type, more like fast-food fries than proper chips, and they don’t quite live up to the rest of the plate. Still, that’s a small detail in what’s otherwise a great meal. Overall Bamboo Kitchen delivers excellent food in a setting that feels both authentic and cinematic. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and enjoy the moment.

Fantastic hidden gem in Ubud. The place is in the middle of these lovelies rice fields. It’s a very relaxing place to chill. Staff is very friendly. They run a BALINESE OFFERING WORKSHOP in a traditional Balinese house just 5 min away. You learn how to make the offerings using coconut leaves, flowers, incense and place them in the family temple. It was the highlight of my time in Bali. DON’T MISS IT!
